Job Title: Administrative Assistant (Contract to Hire)

Location: Ventura, CA

Pay Rate: $25/hr

Job Description:

LHH is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our client's nonprofit organization in Ventura, CA. This is a contract-to-hire position, offering an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact in the community. The ideal candidate will perform basic administrative duties and provide light case management support to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering phones and directing calls to appropriate staff members.
  • Performing data entry tasks to maintain accurate records.
  • Filing documents and maintaining organized filing systems.
  • Reaching out to clients via phone to ask about their progress in the program.

Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform data entry and filing tasks accurately.
  • Willingness to learn and be trained in case management.
  • Experience working with homeless populations or volunteering is a plus.
