About the Role & Program
Join our dynamic 20th Television Business Affairs team as an intern! Our Studio Business Affairs team plays a vital role in negotiating deals and drafting agreements for top-tier talent—including producers, writers, directors, actors, and rights holders—for our scripted broadcast and streaming programming. Be at the forefront of the entertainment industry and gain business affairs experience in both development and series. You'll also collaborate closely with various departments such as development, production, finance, legal, and casting, providing essential business support and driving key ancillary activities. This is a part-time internship, and the approximate dates are from January 2026 through June 2026. If selected for this role, you will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Business Affairs.
What You Will Do
As an intern, you’ll be involved in a variety of exciting projects that will challenge and develop your skillsets. Responsibilities to include reviewing agreements and closed terms, drafting deal charts, memos and short form agreements along with participating in various team, studio and departmental meetings.
Required Qualifications & Skills
A strong interest in entertainment law, the television business, and/or negotiation and strategy
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is a must
Outstanding judgment, interpersonal, and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure
A detail-oriented approach, even when handling a large volume of work
Collaborative teammate who is also a self-starter and can work independently
Demonstrate a high degree of discretion regarding sensitive and/or confidential information
Preferred Qualifications
Previous work experience or coursework in entertainment industry
Education
Completion of one or more years of law school in a current JD program at the start of the internship
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization

Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship

Able to work 20 - 24 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9am - 6pm PST
Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Burbank, California area
