CAMG, a remote-hybrid digital marketing agency focused on SEO, is looking for a WordPress web developer to join our team. This person is required to go into our Maitland, FL office weekly.
As our Wordpress web developer, your main responsibilities will include creating SEO-friendly block-based web designs using Elementor, developing one-off pages, implementing templates, and tagging pages in Wordpress. You will also be responsible for communicating client requirements to designers and developers, coding and implementing web designs, and implementing content into page templates. Brand and style guide adherence is also a crucial part of this role as well as giving accessibility feedback on designs.
At CAMG, we have a fast-paced environment and a mentality that prioritizes client success. You will report to the Development Lead and work closely with designers, SEOs, developers, and clients, acting as an intermediary as needed.
Two years of experience in a similar role and expertise with Elementor page builder and page speed optimization are required.
Required skills:
HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Proficiency in WordPress and Elementor
Highly knowledgeable in website pagespeed
Excellent written and verbal communication
Implementing designs SEO-first, mobile-first, and speed-first
Identifying and troubleshooting front-end website and design issues
Highly organized and able to work independently
Able to solve and problem solve both independently and in a team environment.
Basic understanding of ADA guidelines
Bonus Skills
Knowledge of SEO
Technologies: Canva, Hubspot, Constant Contact, Mailchimp, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite.
This position will require working full-time in the United States.
