Our office location is Hazlet, New Jersey. The position is Monday-Thursday On-Site.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Front-End Engineer with expertise in Shopify development for a part-time, contract role. This position will focus on creating high-performance, visually designed online storefronts. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, a passion for problem-solving, and at least three years of experience working with Shopify Plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Shopify Expertise: Implement advanced Shopify features, including APIs, Apps, Functions, and Extensions, tailored to client needs
• Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and scalable code while adhering to Shopify's best practices
• Collaboration: Partner with designers, marketers, and back-end developers to ensure seamless project execution
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues proactively to ensure optimal performance and user experience
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with Shopify and front-end development trends to provide innovative solutions
• Experienced with Shopify Plus, including theme customization, Shopify Scripts, and Shopify Checkout
• Understanding of eCommerce best practices, including UX/UI design and conversion optimization
• Experience:
• 3+ years of front-end development with a strong focus on Shopify
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Knowledge of SEO and storefront performance optimization

• Site Reliability Engineering skills
• Software Development skills
• Networking and Databases knowledge
• Proficiency in Linux
• Experience in front-end and back-end development
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Relevant certifications or degrees in Computer Science or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Headless Commerce architectures
• Familiarity with Agile workflows and tools like Jira/Confluence
