Job Description

We are currently hiring a Nursing Aide/CNA to join our dedicated and compassionate team at Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu. In this role, you will provide exceptional care to seniors in the Honolulu, Hawaii area, playing a crucial part in assisting them with daily living activities and ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and oral care
• Help clients with mobility and transferring to and from beds or chairs
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and pulse
• Administer medications as prescribed by the client's physician
• Prepare and serve meals according to specific dietary requirements
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients
• Report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
• Follow all protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of clients

Requirements:

• Valid Nursing Aide/CNA certification in the state of Hawaii
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience working with seniors or individuals with chronic illnesses
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to detail
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
• Must have reliable transportation to commute to client locations
