Job Description

Position: Vice President, Distribution Center Operations – West

Locations: Mesquite, TX or Redlands, California

Join us in shaping the future of Distribution Excellence! We are looking for a dynamic Vice President of Distribution Center Operations for the West Region to oversee a high-volume, multi-site distribution network. Your role will be crucial in ensuring efficient product flow from fulfillment to final destination within budget and with a focus on operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide visionary leadership to a network of distribution and fulfillment centers, focusing on operational performance, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop strategic plans aligned with company growth, customer satisfaction, and supply chain excellence.
  • Lead a team of operations directors and senior site leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with transportation, supply chain planning, finance, HR, and IT to ensure network alignment and responsiveness to market dynamics.
  • Manage multi-million-dollar budgets and forecasts while maintaining disciplined cost control and service quality.
  • Drive the adoption of automation, technology, and best-in-class warehouse management systems to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Utilize KPIs and performance metrics for data-driven decision-making, corrective actions, and operational transparency.
  • Contribute to enterprise-level supply chain strategy, inclusive of facility expansions, consolidations, and modernization efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Over 15 years of leadership experience in multi-site distribution or fulfillment operations, with at least 5 years in an executive or regional role.
  • Demonstrated success in managing $100M+ annual distribution operations and scaling networks for growth.
  • Expertise in labor planning, automation, warehouse management systems, and lean/continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong executive presence, financial acumen, and results-driven mindset.
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to inspire teams at all levels.

Compensation: Annual Salary = $185,000 - $200,000. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.

Profit sharing is available to eligible employees; this discretionary program is dependent on the profitability of the company.
