Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer Panama City, FL
Salary $25-$30/hour

We are looking for a US Tech/Sonographer to join our medical practice part time in Panama City, FL.
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate sonographer to provide quality results, while maintaining a cooperative relationship with the healthcare teams. Duties include completing necessary diagnostic sonography for firefighters and EMS services, scanning all organs. As a Sonographer, you will use the latest technology to perform a variety of ultrasound imaging of the organs and provide expert care to patients. You will need to operate ultrasound equipment, prepare patients and evaluate images for technical quality, and work closely with our larger medical team.

Requirements:
-Florida Ultrasound Technologist license
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Supports staff by promptly following orders, operating equipment to acquire images for diagnosis and treatment of patients
-Recording and transmitting messages; scheduling, receiving, and announcing scheduled patients and visitors
-Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
-Maintains office supplies inventory by checking stock; anticipating needs; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt
-Maintains quality results by following and enforcing standards
-Assist with Firefighter and EMS 1582 exams. Scanning all vital organs.
-Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information; responding to requests; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving methods
-Assistance around the office with a variety of tasks as needed
