Job Description

**Job Title: Quality Assurance Inspector - UH-60/S-70** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Quality Assurance Inspector to conduct inspections on UH-60 aircraft systems, subsystems, and avionics components. The role involves ensuring compliance with maintenance procedures and quality standards, reviewing and approving incoming materials, and performing component and shop inspections to verify specification compliance. You will also be responsible for monitoring safety, training, and certification requirements, assisting in troubleshooting, and inspecting aircraft systems. **Responsibilities** + Conduct inspections on UH-60 aircraft systems, subsystems, and avionics components. + Ensure compliance with maintenance procedures and quality standards. + Review and approve incoming materials, repaired parts, and inspection records, reports, and documentation. + Perform component and shop inspections to verify specification compliance. + Ensure proper tagging and identification of all parts. + Monitor safety, training, and certification requirements. + Assist in troubleshooting and inspecting aircraft systems. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 6 years in aviation maintenance, with at least 2 years as an Aircraft Quality/Technical Inspector. + FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License preferred. + Experience with UH-60 or other Sikorsky platforms such as HH-60, SH-60, MH-60, CH-53. + Ability to read blueprints and inspect airframe structural repairs. + Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET clearance. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Avionics License is nice to have but not required. + Experience on platforms such as UH-60, MH-60, SH-60, HH-60, CH-53, or S-76. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a great work environment with very low turnover, and benefit from opportunities such as obtaining your A&P License with company support after direct hire. **Work Environment** You will work in an aircraft hangar setting with a Monday to Thursday work week, where the pace is fast and you must be able to work under pressure. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Guntersville, Alabama. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
