We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Delivery Truck Driver to pick up and deliver electrical motors, parts, and other electrical components to and from customers and suppliers. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and secure transport of materials while following all safety protocols and maintaining a professional and customer-friendly attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a company delivery truck to transport electrical motors and components.
• Pick up and deliver orders to customers, vendors, and job sites as scheduled.
• Properly secure all equipment using strapping and other safety measures to prevent shifting during transit.
• Load and unload equipment safely, using a forklift when necessary (forklift experience is a plus).
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and report any maintenance needs.
• Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers and vendors.
• Assist in warehouse duties when not on deliveries, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL may be required depending on vehicle type).
• Experience with strapping and securing loads for transport.
• Ability to work safely with heavy equipment and electrical components.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to [weight requirement] pounds.
• Knowledge of local roads and routes is a plus.
