Dillard’s Inc., one of the foremost names in Department Store retailing, has an exceptional career opportunity available for a talented cash manager professional to join our treasury team based in our corporate office in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Job Description

Monitor key relationships and participate with other management and staff to initiate the best course of action for certain treasury functions. The position is an executive responsibility requiring demonstrable ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment in carrying out the Company’s business objectives. A high level of attendance is required as an essential function of this position.

Responsibilities

Provide executive level advice in reporting on, analyzing, evaluating, advising management, creating plans for and participating as a management team member in determining and negotiating plans and course of action related to the following:

ATM Services

· Monitor and maintain relationships with current ATM service providers as main contact.

· Responsible for monitoring service requests, through both Dillard’s internal support center and current service provider technicians, for both stores, DCs, and corporate ATMs.

· Responsible for recording ATM revenue, processing invoices for payment, and monthly reconciliations.

· Responsible for corporate ATM cash replenishments.

Dillard’s Employee Disaster Relief Fund (DEDRF)

· Responsible for overseeing committee-approved disbursements from DEDRF accounts.

· Responsible for accepting, processing, and recording all DEDRF contributions received.

· Responsible for monthly reconciliations of DEDRF accounts.

· Responsible for distributing donation receipts in a timely manner.

Back Office Cash Administrator

· Monitor and maintain relationships with current Remote Deposit service provider.

· Main point of contact on remote deposit services for our stores.

· Maintain online access for all store cashiers and other remote deposit users, including adding/removing online access, changing passwords, etc.

Armored Car Services

· Monitor and maintain relationships with current armored car service providers.

· Prepare armored car fee analysis monthly.

· Monitor armored car services to ensure timely pickups/drop offs of both deposits and change orders to stores.

· Communicate with banks and armored car providers to rectify any missing change orders.

· Audit and process all armored car invoices to verify services to be paid.

Petty Cash/Vault Cash

· Maintain corporate petty cash fund, including quarterly audits.

· Responsible for recording all activity within the corporate petty cash fund.

· Prepare monthly reconciliations for store vault funds.

· Monitor all store vault balances to ensure proper funding levels.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or equivalent experience or 5+ years of Finance, Treasury and Cash Management experience
  • Advanced skills utilizing Excel, including complex formulas in order to acquire, organize, and analyze data. Experience in other data management and reporting tools is a plus.
  • Experienced in analyzing data to determine relevant conclusions and suggest appropriate actions to management.
  • Efficient and effective with strong time management and demonstrate leadership qualities
  • Proven track record to multitask and prioritize routine tasks and ad-hoc requests in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Detail oriented, demonstrating accuracy and quality of work output.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small, collegial team environment.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and preform extensive work at a computer monitor and via phone.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, intellectually curious.
