We are seeking a reliable and experienced tow truck driver to join our team in the towing industry. As a tow truck driver, you will play a crucial role in helping stranded motorists by safely towing their vehicles to the designated locations. Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to dispatch calls and provide efficient towing services.
- Safely secure disabled vehicles and ensure appropriate attachment to the tow truck.
- Transport vehicles to the designated destinations in a timely manner while following traffic rules and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by demonstrating empathy and professionalism towards distressed motorists.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all towed vehicles, including their condition at pickup and drop-off.
- Conduct regular inspections of tow trucks and perform routine maintenance to ensure their safe operation.
- Assist in roadside emergencies, such as changing flat tires, jump-starting dead batteries, or providing fuel delivery to stranded motorists.
Requirements
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a tow truck driver.
- Strong knowledge of automotive mechanics and basic troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in high-stress situations and maintain composure.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and ability to read maps efficiently.
- Ability to pass a background check.
