Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced tow truck driver to join our team in the towing industry. As a tow truck driver, you will play a crucial role in helping stranded motorists by safely towing their vehicles to the designated locations. Your excellent driving skills and exceptional customer service will make a significant impact on our client’s experience during stressful situations on the road. Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to dispatch calls and provide efficient towing services.
  • Safely secure disabled vehicles and ensure appropriate attachment to the tow truck.
  • Transport vehicles to the designated destinations in a timely manner while following traffic rules and regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by demonstrating empathy and professionalism towards distressed motorists.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all towed vehicles, including their condition at pickup and drop-off.
  • Conduct regular inspections of tow trucks and perform routine maintenance to ensure their safe operation.
  • Assist in roadside emergencies, such as changing flat tires, jump-starting dead batteries, or providing fuel delivery to stranded motorists.

Requirements

  • Valid North Carolina driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a tow truck driver.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive mechanics and basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in high-stress situations and maintain composure.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and ability to read maps efficiently.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
