*Effective 6/24/2024 any candidates presented to Brattleboro Retreat that live within 35 miles of the facility will be subject to a 10% rate decrease. Please include the candidates address or drivers license in the submission packet.

Under general supervision responsible for providing clinical/case management services to patients and their families in order to promote the optimal individual interpersonal and social functioning of the patient and assure reintegration in to the community or the environment most suited to the patient s continued well being.

Must be flexible to work across the lifespan with our Child/Adolescent and Adult populations.
Requirement description :

• Master s degree in Clinical Social Work from an accredited graduate school of Social Work or Master s degree in counseling or other behavioral health discipline REQUIRED
• Social Worker must be registered on the Roster of Psychotherapists who are Nonlicensed and Noncertified with the State of Vermont Office of Professional Regulation prior to employment REQUIRED
  
• Must accept a flexible 40hour work week scheduled to meet the needs of patients and families within the guidelines of the bargaining agreement REQUIRED
• Experience with children and adolescents REQUIRED
• One to two years of inpatient social work experience preferred

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

• Resume with psych experience and age groups listed Ex. Psych RN Facility (AGE GROUP/POPULATION) DATES
• Units must be listed on resume (Medical social worker Behavioral health social worker Long term care social worker etc.)
• RTO cannot exceed 7 days (RTO will not be approved for 12/221/5 no exceptions)
  
• Skills checklist (within the last year)
• 2 supervisory references from last 2 years of employment
• Certifications c ertifications don t need to be active at time of submission but must be willing to obtain
• Drivers license or candidates address must be included in the submission packet (35 miles or less will result in rate decrease)

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

• BLS (AHA)

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :

• Vermont

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : Must be registered on the Roster of Psychotherapists who are Nonlicensed and Noncertified with the State of Vermont
Weekend Requirements : Every Friday Saturday Sunday
On Call Requirements : No Call
