Job Title: Technical Product Manager

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Product Manager to join our fast-growing startup. In this role, you will shape and lead the development of a cutting-edge global network platform that redefines trust, security, and privacy in digital interactions, while also offering robust data services. You will establish the collaboration process with our development team, bridging the gap between technical execution and product vision.

As a member of the product team, you should have a deep understanding of both product development processes and technical fundamentals, as well as an eye for UX/UI design. The role offers an opportunity to impact the product’s future, influence its design, and contribute to its overall success.

This role is on-site in Dallas. In recent years, the DFW metro area has become one of the fastest growing metros in the nation. Dallas is becoming a hub for innovation, and a cosmopolitan city, with restaurants, bars, and endless recreational activities, at a relatively low cost of living. A relocation bonus and moving expenses reimbursement are available for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of the platform and assist leadership in the ongoing definition and implementation of the overall product roadmap.
• Act as a key player in the full product development lifecycle, from ideation to release, ensuring timely delivery of multiple features and products in parallel.
• Serve as a point of contact between the product and engineering teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals and timelines.
• Lead technical discussions and decisions, working closely with engineers to align priorities and solutions.
• Oversee and run JIRA for planning, backlog management, and issue tracking, ensuring smooth workflow and collaboration across workflows and teams.
• Collaborate with the UX/UI design team to ensure seamless, user-friendly, and intuitive product designs.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our product’s current and future capabilities, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvements.
• Advocate for customer needs and translate them into product features and enhancements.

Qualifications

• Passion for building innovative products with a strong user focus, and the ability to anticipate and solve complex problems.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with a willingness to take initiative and ownership of projects.
• 5+ years of experience in a technical product management role, preferably within network technologies, security, or data services.
• Preference for MBA graduates or a background in software development.
• Proven experience in an agile development environment, managing product workflows in JIRA, and ensuring timely project delivery.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong technical background with the ability to engage in deep discussions with engineers, with a focus on understanding backend systems, APIs, and network protocols.
• Solid grasp of product design principles, UX/UI best practices, and the ability to collaborate with design teams effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
