Description of the role: As a Team Lead Direct Support Worker (evening) at iCare Elder Services, you will play a crucial role in supporting employees and providing support and care to elderly individuals in the Scranton, Pennsylvania area. Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of direct support workers during evening shifts including on-call and weekends.
• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for the elderly individuals.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and progress.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a direct support worker role.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
