Job Title: Survey CAD Technician
Job Description
Create a variety of survey-related drawings, including boundary and topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, subdivision plats, dedications, easements, as-built surveys, and construction layout exhibits. Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to complete assignments promptly and in accordance with company drafting standards. Implement edits and revisions as requested by agencies, municipalities, and clients. Work independently while collaborating effectively with a diverse project team. Maintain clear communication with project managers, field crews, and other stakeholders to ensure workflow efficiency and meet productivity targets.
Responsibilities
Create detailed survey-related drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Essential Skills
3+ years of drafting experience in the surveying/engineering field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of land survey procedures and workflows.
Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with drafting in land development.
Reliable, dependable, and responsible.
Detail-oriented and able to maintain a varied workload.
Work Environment
This position involves working 100% behind a computer performing Survey CAD drafts. You will work on 5-6 projects at a time, with a wide variety in size, predominantly in land development. The role involves working primarily in AutoCAD Civil 3D. You'll join a team of 8 survey professionals, including another drafter with ten years of experience and three crew chiefs. You will have your own desk/cubicle and a company desktop. After training, you will enjoy a hybrid work schedule with the opportunity to work from home two days a week. The office has recently expanded, providing a brand new additional space.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $38.00/hr.
