The Merker Group (a leading National legal recruiting firm), is working on a role for one of our best top law firm clients in search of an experienced associate with 6+ years of structured finance experience (ideally in New York, but Miami or Dallas are alternative options). This is for a senior associate or counsel level attorney (with real path to partnership). I have personally done a ton of recruiting work for the corporate teams at the firm and have a very good working relationship with the teams (and I'm respected for this reason).
Experience representing financial institutions as issuers, underwriters, borrowers, lenders, sellers, and/or purchasers in a variety of asset-backed securitization and structured lending transactions, but general capital markets, private credit and/or leveraged finance experience coupled with an interest in securitization also encouraged to apply.
The group focuses on Repo finance, trade receivable finance, digital infrastructure, warehouse lending, and structured private credit. Large law firm experience is preferred.
This is where you go to do top of market work. Pay is $390k+ base and bonus $115k+.
