Qualifications

· The candidate should have extensive knowledge in heavy civil construction, specifically within the Houston Market

· We are looking for an individual who is passionate about the industry with a high level of enthusiasm to help increase the capacity of the Company

· Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering, Construction Management

· A minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a Sr

· Estimator

· Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills

· Computerized take-off tools such as Bluebeam

· P6 Scheduling Software and Critical Path Method scheduling for large and complex projects

· COH and TXDOT (DBE) Requirements

Responsibilities

· Self-Perform Underground Utilities, Paving, Hardscape, Traffic Control scope

· Estimating Software such as HCSS HeavyBid

· Large Diameter Water Line and Sanitary Sewer

· Review Project Plans, Requirements, and Specifications

· Review and Understand All Bid Documents and be able to Assess Project Risks

· Determine Labor and Equipment Costs and Production Rates

· Well Organized, Detail Oriented and Multi-Tasker

· Present Estimate and Participate in Bid Reviews with Senior Management to ensure Accuracy and Completeness of Estimates

· Compare and Analyze Competitive Subcontractor and Supplier Bids
