Snowflake Engineer
6-12+ months contract
100% remote (occasional travel to client site)
We are looking for a talented Snowflake Engineer to join our data engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data solutions on the Snowflake platform. This role requires expertise in cloud-based data warehousing and a strong understanding of SQL and data modeling.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement data pipelines using Snowflake.
Optimize data storage and query performance within the Snowflake environment.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to gather data requirements.
Monitor and maintain Snowflake account health and performance.
Develop and execute data integration processes from various sources.
Document data architectures, workflows, and best practices.
Stay abreast of Snowflake updates and industry trends.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience with Snowflake and SQL.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and practices.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with ETL tools and data integration technologies.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of data governance and security practices.
