Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain functional and performance models for our hardware.
• Develop tools and infrastructure to enhance correlation, debugging, and testing efficiency.
• Collaborate with teams such as architecture, verification/validation, compilers, and runtime to understand user needs.
• Participate in architectural decision-making and reviews.
• Explore and implement performance optimizations, including the use of GPUs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong software engineering skills with an emphasis on maintainability and performance.
• Solid understanding of computer architecture principles.
• Excellent communication skills across different teams.
• Experience with Rust and/or developing cycle-accurate simulators.

Preferred Qualifications (any of the following):

• In-depth knowledge of Machine Learning Accelerator architectures.
• Experience in code benchmarking and optimization.
• Familiarity with processor, memory, and networking architectures.
• Understanding of trade-offs between power, performance, and cost.
