Job Description

This is an exciting position as a Sr. SAP SD/MM Manager of a beloved brand that is known as one of the footwear industry’s most respected products. As a Sr. SAP SD/MM Manager, you will report to the Global IT Director and serve as an instrumental component of a vital team in the organization. In this role, you will: Provide guidance and leadership to associate analysts in processes analysis, configuration and implementation methodologies within a particular functional area| Analyze business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and design SAP solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall business performance | Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs | Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and requirements.

How you make a difference:

SAP Team Management:

  • As a leader, lead the SAP team including multiple roles for different systems.
  • Collaborate with other regions and ensure the team working effectively.

Project Management:

  • Lead the regional SAP projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with project teams and ensure project goals are met.

Business Process Analysis:

  • Analyze current business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.

SAP Solution Design:

  • Design SAP solutions that align with business goals and objectives.
  • Configure SAP modules to meet specific business needs.
  • Create functional specifications and documentation.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure SAP solutions meet business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any SAP system issues.
  • Perform system integration testing and user acceptance testing.

Documentation:

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP configurations and processes.
  • Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

Compliance and Security:

  • Ensure SAP solutions comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect data and system integrity.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years of leadership experience
  • Minimum 5 – 7 years of work experience as an SAP SD/MM consultant or in a similar role
  • Work experience in Apparel and Footwear companies is a plus
  • Work experience with SAP AFS, FMS is a plus

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze complex data, make informed decisions, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills; able to work across business lines at senior levels to influence, instill confidence and effect change to achieve common goals and demonstrate the business value of IT
  • Strong knowledge of SAP modules (SD&MM of SAP S/4 or FMS or AFS) and their integration
  • Proficiency in SAP configuration and customization
  • Project management skills with a track record of successful SAP implementations
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work well with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to make decisions and recommendations on complex issues and present to Sr. Management
  • Good time management and organizational skills
