Position Summary

Established single family office is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Investment Analyst to join our dynamic investment team, focusing on sports investing while also contributing to broader investment activities. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise to identify, analyze, and evaluate investment opportunities in the sports sector, as well as across public and private equity markets. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual who combines financial acumen with a deep understanding of the sports industry. The position reports to the Chief Investment Officer and will be located in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Analysis and Research

  • Conduct in-depth financial and strategic analysis of potential investment opportunities in the sports industry, and across public and private equity markets
  • Develop financial models and projections to assess opportunities
  • Perform market research to understand industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory frameworks

Deal Sourcing and Evaluation

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of investment opportunities in the sports sector and other industries
  • Evaluate the risks and returns of potential investments, preparing detailed reports and recommendations
  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including financial, operational, and market analysis for potential investment opportunities

Portfolio Management

  • Monitor the performance of existing investments, providing regular updates and insights
  • Identify opportunities for value creation within the portfolio and funds
  • Develop and implement exit strategies when appropriate

General Investment Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis on public and private equity markets to identify emerging trends and investment opportunities
  • Assist in developing investment strategies and asset allocation recommendations
  • Conduct other ad hoc analysis, research, and/or investment projects for the firm

Collaboration and Presentation

  • Work closely with senior leadership, providing data-driven insights to support decision-making, and communicating findings and recommendations effectively
  • Prepare and present investment memos and other materials to the Investment Committee
  • Liaise with external partners to enhance deal flow and industry knowledge

Qualifications and Skills

  • 5-7 years of experience in investment analysis, private equity, venture capital, or corporate finance, with a focus on the sports or entertainment sectors being highly advantageous
  • Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or CFA a plus
  • Strong knowledge of the sports industry as well as financial markets, portfolio strategy, and investment manager evaluation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills, and ability to interact with investment managers and investment committees presenting complex ideas clearly and persuasively
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset, intellectual curiosity, and flexibility
  • Enthusiastic about working on a small, nimble team and collaboratively sharing knowledge, participating in discussions, and providing support to teammates
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Highly organized and able to multi-task independently with strong attention to detail
  • Uncompromising ethics and integrity

Base compensation for this role is expected to be approximately $150,000-$200,000. In addition to base salary, you will also be eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus.

This position will be based in West Palm Beach, FL and will be 100% in-office.
