Job Description

Jackson Healthcare® is hiring an experienced, dynamic graphic design professional to be part of its Corporate Marketing team. The Senior Graphic Design Specialist will provide creative and design services to Jackson Healthcare and its family of companies.

This position will partner closely with the digital marketing and communications teams, and with other corporate departments, to create visual storytelling that engages, informs and inspires. The role requires an agile design professional who can go from ideas and concepts to develop visual representations. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of and experience using the latest modern design software and be skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverable.

Job functions include the creation of a variety of specialized outputs to support marketing initiatives, including materials for use in both print and digital mediums. Candidates must possess exceptional creative vision; outstanding graphic design skills, including mastery of the applications within the Adobe Creative Cloud, and be a collaborative, detail-oriented team player with cross-functional communication skills.

This position is based out of the organization’s headquarters in Alpharetta, Georgia and will report to the Director of Creative Services.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Strategize, collaborate and coordinate with other designers, content developers and writers, marketers, and managers across multiple teams on a wide range of materials that include web pages, social media channels, presentations, collateral, digital and print signage, newsletters and other marketing materials
• Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity
• Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, graphic style and layout for various mediums
• Maintain tasks, processes and workflows for the timely delivery of high-quality products and services to meet/exceed client expectations
• Manage the design and uploading process for all project materials, based on content management system best practices
• Manage graphic and photo assets within existing workflows and libraries
• Contribute to sustaining the standards, processes and messaging that strengthens the brand of Jackson Healthcare and its family of companies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, visual communication or related discipline required
• Strong portfolio of work samples required
• 5-7 years of professional graphic design experience required
• Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
• 5-7 years of demonstrated proficiency using Adobe Creative Cloud and the Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with template creation using applications including, but not limited to, those within Adobe and Microsoft
• Working knowledge of/experience in CSS3 and HTML5
• Working knowledge of/experience in JavaScript a plus
• Experience and proficiency designing in PowerPoint
• Knowledge of WordPress and content management systems a plus
• Corporate marketing department, creative and/or marketing agency experience a plus
• Brand mindset with the ability to deliver content aligned to brand standards and guidelines
• Customer-centric approach and ability to collaborate effectively across departments and businesses that are part of the Jackson Healthcare organization
