Job Description
Location: Roswell, GA (Relocation or reliable commute required)
Role Overview: Lead the electrical engineering/design, development, and execution of control system applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Independently apply electrical and instrumentation knowledge to create construction design packages.
Make engineering decisions and represent the company in project meetings.
Design electrical systems for Oil & Gas facilities, including motors, controls, panels, and wiring.
Prepare detailed drawings for electrical installations.
Conduct electrical reviews to ensure quality procedures are followed.
Review design estimates and work scopes for new projects.
Use and wear personal protective equipment as required.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical design experience.
Experience mentoring team members and communicating with construction and plant personnel.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical.
Knowledge of NEC Codes, area classification, and hazardous environments.
Experience with voltage drop calculations, wiring sizing, conduit fill calculations, and 480-volt power distribution systems.
Ability to develop scopes of work, task descriptions, material lists, and project schedules.
Valid Driver's License and ability to work in the United States.
Must pass background check and drug & alcohol testing.
Desired Skills and Experience Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical design experience.
