Job Overview

We are partnered with a rapidly growing investment firm seeking a motivated and detail-oriented attorney to join its team and help support the underwriting and legal analysis of the firm's lending transactions. This role offers exposure to a dynamic intersection of finance and law, and would be a critical player of a value-oriented, collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate lending opportunities to clients by assessing the value and risk of underlying portfolios.

• Perform comprehensive due diligence on borrowers.

• Collaborate in structuring and negotiating loan terms with prospective borrowers.

• Provide support to the Legal Team in the preparation and review of loan agreements and related documentation.

• Contribute to the development of financial models, strategic presentations, and investment memoranda alongside Legal and cross-functional teams.

• Assist with a variety of firm-wide initiatives, including building internal tools and templates, producing marketing and press materials, supporting recruiting efforts, and improving internal workflows.

Qualifications:

• JD from a nationally recognized law school and will have demonstrated exceptional academic credentials.

• A successful candidate will be an attorney in good standing with the relevant state bar authorit(ies) in the jurisdiction(s) where he/she practices.

• If admitted to practice outside of the state of Florida, the successful candidate must be eligible for admission to Florida as a Certified In-House Counsel.

• A successful candidate will have approximately 4-6 years of experience as a litigator/trial practitioner with at least some experience in personal injury litigations.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as uncompromising attention to detail, is required.
