About the Job: I am working with a respected law firm in Chicago seeking a senior litigation associate with 6+ years of experience to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a hands-on litigator with experience in finance-related litigation. The firm is looking for an attorney to step into a key role between their junior associates and non-equity partners, providing mentorship while handling complex cases. Responsibilities:

• Manage and work on a range of litigation matters, particularly finance-related cases.
• Lead and mentor junior associates, providing guidance on case strategy and development.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting and arguing motions, depositions, and case management.
• Collaborate closely with partners on high-stakes cases, ensuring the successful progression of the firm's most critical matters.
• Take on increasing responsibility, with opportunities to make a direct impact on case outcomes and client relationships.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 6+ years of litigation experience, with a focus on finance-related matters preferred.
• Strong oral and written advocacy skills.
• Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
• Experience in managing junior associates and working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work independently, managing complex litigation cases from start to finish.

The Firm is Offering:

• Competitive compensation, with a salary range of $170,000 - $200,000 (depending on experience).
• A billing minimum of 1750 hours annually.
• Hybrid work options, with the ability to work from home up to 3 days per week.
• No PTO restrictions—take the time off you need as long as the work is being completed.
• No requirement for a book of business for non-equity partners.
