As an SEO & SEM Intern, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our clients' websites for search engines, managing pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns, and driving organic and paid traffic to achieve their online marketing goals. Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:

They will work directly with a mentor, who will provide supervision and mentoring for several projects
Perform keyword research and analysis to pinpoint relevant keywords and enhance website content accordingly.
Enhance website metadata, such as page titles and descriptions, to boost search engine rankings and increase click-through rates.
Conduct ongoing audits of the website to uncover technical issues that could harm its visibility and ranking on search engines.
Monitor, analyze, and generate reports on website traffic, rankings, and other vital performance metrics.
Work closely with various teams, including content creators, developers, and designers, to ensure the integration of SEO best practices throughout all aspects of website design and development.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (preferred)
Proven experience in SEO and SEM, including keyword research, on-page/off-page optimization, and PPC campaign management.
Proficiency in SEO and SEM tools and platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz).
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive insights and actions.
Excellent communication and client management skills.
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Work location: In person

Schedule:

8-hour shift
Work hours will be structured around school schedules and related deadlines
