What You'll Be Doing:
🔹 Conduct individual and group counseling to address students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
🔹 Develop and implement intervention plans to support students facing challenges such as anxiety, trauma, or social difficulties.
🔹 Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create a supportive and inclusive school environment.
🔹 Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings , providing expert guidance on social-emotional supports and accommodations.
🔹 Act as a liaison between students, families, and community resources , ensuring access to necessary support services.
What We’re Looking For:
🔹 Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field.
🔹 Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement.
🔹 Experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required.
🔹 Strong communication, problem-solving, and advocacy skills.
