The role of this position is to provide the sales legal research and entry. Perform data entry in the appropriate databases and prepare and assemble documents for appraisers and other customer’s utilization and review. This position will also support other functions needed for the office to meet all statutory and compliance timelines and requirements.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Two years of real estate document management, customer service in a real estate office, appraisal experience, or data management or analysis – OR – One year mass appraisal experience in administrative support in the Sedgwick County Appraiser’s Office. Must successfully pass the following courses within three years of hire date: International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) Course 101 – Fundamentals of Real Property Appraisal, Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), Kansas Property Tax Law, Kansas Personal Property Valuation and Assessment, Orion Introduction and Overview of Basic Functionality
Preferred Qualifications: Four years of mass appraisal experience. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Urban Planning, Real Estate, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Have one or more of the following professional designations: Registered Mass Appraiser (RMA), Certified Assessment Evaluator (CAE), Residential Evaluation Specialist (RES), Mass Appraisal Specialist (MAS), or Assessment Administration Specialist (AAS).
