SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION
Safety Coordinator
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm, overtime as needed including weekends. Must be able to be on call and respond within 30 minutes.
Job Summary: Assist in training and education of employees involved in all aspects of drying, milling, packaging and grain storage operations. Assist in inspections and evaluations of all facilities to uphold a hazard-free working environment. Assist in monitoring work actions of all employees to ensure that training, education, and corrective actions are adequate to prevent unsafe work practices. Assist in maintaining timely and accurate safety records for internal and external (OSHA, Department of Labor) reporting and reference.
