Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 403(b) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized, evidence-based perioperative nursing care
• Partner with patients and families through communication, teaching, and care planning
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and maintain strong team collaboration
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to clinical and safety standards
• Support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice activities
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to fellow nurses and students
• Maintain compliance with regulatory, legal, and accreditation requirements
• Contribute to protocol development, workflow optimization, and efficient resource use

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills; Strong clinical proficiency in operating room/perioperative nursing
• Ability to perform the complete Nursing Process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, surgeons, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to provide culturally sensitive, patient-centered care
• Accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Knowledge of evidence-based practice and quality/safety standards
• Ability to precept, mentor, and support nursing staff
• Active RN License (Single-State or Multi-State Compact)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma/ADN required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Minimum 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience
• Prior perioperative/OR experience strongly preferred
