Registered Nurse – Neonatal & Postpartum Transition Nurse

Qualifications:

Active RN license with at least 2 years of experience in neonatal or postpartum care.
NRP and BLS certification required.
Experience with late preterm infants and transition to home care.
Strong ability to educate and support families with newborns requiring extra care.

Duties:

Assist in the transition of high-risk newborns from NICU to postpartum care.
Educate families on newborn care, feeding, and developmental milestones.
Monitor neonates for signs of distress, jaundice, and temperature instability.
Support skin-to-skin bonding and early breastfeeding success.
Work closely with neonatologists and pediatricians to ensure smooth transitions.
Provide follow-up education for families with preterm or medically complex infants.
Maintain compliance with neonatal and postpartum care best practices.
