Registered Nurse – Neonatal & Postpartum Transition Nurse
Qualifications:
- Active RN license with at least 2 years of experience in neonatal or postpartum care.
- NRP and BLS certification required.
- Experience with late preterm infants and transition to home care.
- Strong ability to educate and support families with newborns requiring extra care.
Duties:
- Assist in the transition of high-risk newborns from NICU to postpartum care.
- Educate families on newborn care, feeding, and developmental milestones.
- Monitor neonates for signs of distress, jaundice, and temperature instability.
- Support skin-to-skin bonding and early breastfeeding success.
- Work closely with neonatologists and pediatricians to ensure smooth transitions.
- Provide follow-up education for families with preterm or medically complex infants.
- Maintain compliance with neonatal and postpartum care best practices.
Pay:
- Medium weekly pay range: $2,150 - $2,750
