Job Summary:


This Registered Nurse position in Interventional Radiology focuses on providing skilled nursing care within a specialized medical setting. The role requires a high level of clinical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, and treatment planning, all while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Providing skilled nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
- Performing patient assessments, including vital signs and other relevant data collection.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitoring patient conditions and reporting any changes to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.
- Collaborating effectively with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, technicians, and other nurses.
- Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Assisting with pre and post procedure care.
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Required Skills & Certifications:

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a hospital setting (preferably in a related specialty).
- Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems (EMR).

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Experience in Interventional Radiology or a related specialty.
- Advanced certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS).
