About the Job
Ruan is now hiring Class A CDL Flex drivers to haul freight for our dedicated customer based in Dixon, IL! Flex drivers will learn several different dedicated routes to cover vacations, absences, and fill-ins, or be assigned to other Ruan operations as needed. Pay

Drivers will receive package pay, averaging $75,000 - $82,000 per year when covering regional routes at the Dixon operations. When supporting at other operations, flex drivers are guaranteed $1,500 per week.

Schedule

Run various dedicated routes with multiple stops. Drivers must be flexible with their days off depending on the routes assigned. When covering routes that are not based out of Dixon, IL, drivers will travel to other Ruan operations and can expect to be out for 1-2 weeks at a time.

Equipment

Drive 2024 Freightliner Sleepers with preloaded heated trailers. Use a powerlift manual pallet jack to tailgate pallets with some driver unload. Hazmat will be required with 60 days hired.

Minimum Requirements
Must be at least 22 years or older
No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
Additional qualifications will apply
With the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired
9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
