Our HR team is seeking a Recruiting and HR Intern based in Denver or Colorado Springs. This is a great opportunity to become part of a family of firms operating across multiple states. We expect the internship to be between 20-30 hours per week through September 2025.
OBJECTIVE/FUNCTION: The Recruiting and HR Intern will work under the direction of the HR Manager and team. The intern will primarily support the firm’s talent acquisition functions, along with some special projects in human resources. Some responsibilities may vary depending on departmental needs.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES: - Support recruitment by scheduling interviews, managing calendars and coordinating candidate communications
- Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) data in JazzHR.
- Create visual aids for system training
- Handle sensitive information with the highest level of discretion and confidentiality
- Create excel spreadsheets that support benefits and pay audit
- Benefits Reconciliation
- Employee Recognition Gifts
- Audit of Employee Files
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: - Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
- Prior exposure to JazzHR, Paychex, or other HR/ATS platforms is a major plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage calendars and coordinate complex scheduling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism and respect for confidentiality.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: - Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
- Previous work experience in an office setting preferred.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
$18.00 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience and education, geographic location, and current market trends

WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be able to operate a variety of machines and equipment, including computer, office equipment, telephone, etc. Tasks may require extended periods at a keyboard or workstation. Required to occasionally lift, hold, or carry items weighing up to 40 pounds. Individuals must perform the principal duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.
