Job Description

Do you have experience managing restaurants and know the FOH/BOH like the back of your hand? Have you read Robert Cialdini's book Influence? Do you have a deep understanding of psychology and persuasion? Do you remain interested in learning how to achieve a result even when things get challenging? Are you highly disciplined and self-accountable? Do you have a real passion for recruiting & sales? If you answered yes to all these questions, then this opportunity may be for you!

RestaurantZone (est. 2014) is a Remote Recruitment Agency with desks in the Restaurant, Hospitality, & Hotel industries. We are seeking Remote Hospitality Recruiters to help fill job orders for our current book of clients. This role is for an individual who is a financially hungry, self-driven, sales-expert candidate who wants to level up in their career. RZ is inundated with client job orders and is seeking individuals who work hard and smart. We seek people who deeply care about culture and performance.

Compensation & Benefits

  • This role offers a W2 salary plus a generous tiered commission structure.
  • Yearly On-Target-Earnings are ~$100,000-$120,000 . To achieve OTE, you must average 3-5 placements per month. Note: RZ is not a Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) Company. Essentially, you source and interview high-quality jobseekers and if they get hired by our clients, you earn a generous commission.
  • 401K program
  • Flexible Health Allowance
  • Paid Time Off
  • Quarterly / Annual Bonus Program
  • Monthly Team Bonus Structure
  • Mentorship and Coaching from Recruiting Leaders
  • Real Growth Potential in Your Career (e.g. future opportunity to build your own branch if you have leadership ability, exceed your KPIs, and embody our values)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with restaurant clients to understand their hiring needs, company culture, and job requirements.
  • Source and attract top talent through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
  • Screen and interview candidates to assess their skills, experience, and cultural fit for restaurant management roles.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial contact to offer negotiation and onboarding.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
  • Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Collaborate with clients to refine job descriptions and ensure alignment with their goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to provide informed recommendations to clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Meet and exceed recruitment targets and performance metrics.
  • Conduct business development activities, such as prospecting new clients, building relationships with restaurant owners and operators, obtaining new job orders from current and new clients, and promoting recruitment services.

What We Seek

  • In the words of Joe Dispenza, we are running an Olympic-level team. If you can't be competent, accountable, or on purpose—it's not personal, we have to cut you because we're moving at a fast pace. We seek Olympians!
  • A high-energy, hard-working SELF-STARTER who enjoys autonomy and doesn't require daily instruction to provide real results yet is open to coaching and feedback; if you tend to procrastinate, unfortunately, this job is not for you.
  • A fearless warrior on the battlefield—if you were a GOT character you would be Brienne of Tarth or The Hound.
  • Someone who is candid, takes assertive fast action (you play more offense than defense), and has immense integrity.
  • You take full responsibility and find solutions to problems; you don't have a habit of making excuses or blaming others; you are highly disciplined and self-accountable.
  • A people person who loves talking on the phone, texting, and emailing candidates and clients all day.
  • You go above and beyond for yourself, your co-workers, your candidates, and your clients. If you're not a giver, please do not apply.
  • 2-5 years experience at a Recruitment Agency is preferred. Exclusively focused on Contingency and Retained Management, Corporate Office, Hourly & Executive Searches
  • Strong connections and experience in the hospitality, hotel, and restaurant industry
  • Entrepreneurial-Driven Individual

What We Provide

  • A fun, epic, and supportive team structure and environment (zero toxic culture here) where everyone celebrates each others' wins!
  • Large, established book of business, you can work on job orders on day one. The clients are already closed—all that is required is for you to source and interview job seekers over the phone or Zoom for positions at different companies and ensure they get placed. This requires people skills, negotiation skills, and the ability to influence others.
  • Warm Inbound Leads + Immediate Contracts & Recruiting Job Orders to work on.
  • Epic technology, resources -- and most importantly recruiting for the best brands in the space!
  • Powerful tools, software, training, and support to grow in your profession

Working with us is not for everyone! We're on a mission to cut turnover in the hospitality industry in half and help thousands of restaurants and hotels scale their business operations. This is no small feat, and will only be possible with the right kind of team members. And we're not just looking for skills and experience. Having shared values is just as important.
