Job Description

Messner Reeves LLP, a national law firm, is seeking an experienced Real Estate Legal Assistant to join our team in Denver, Colorado.

Responsibilities

  • Manage calendar deadlines, meetings, and heavy scheduling for multiple attorneys.
  • Well versed in both federal and state court procedures and filing requirements, including e-filing in federal court.
  • Draft, review, and manage real estate contracts, lease agreements, and related documents.
  • Assist with client engagement and retention, including preparation of engagement letters, conflict checks, conflict waivers, and submitting information to open matters.
  • Assist in managing litigation matters, including document production and responding to discovery requests.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws pertaining to real estate.
  • Perform additional tasks as requested, including document editing, and other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience working in real estate, commercial and corporate law.
  • Knowledge of legal practices and terminology for real estate and corporate transactions.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to a team environment.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, establish priorities and meet all deadlines.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • Located in the Denver area.
  • Ability to work three days in office.
