The Role

Real Estate Finance Associate - Junior/Mid Level - $125,000 - $200,000 Salary

This is a superb opportunity to join a leading Tier 2 Real Estate Law firm in their award-winning Real Estate team at their office in Columbus, Ohio.

You will work closely with experienced lawyers in their highly-regarded Real Estate Finance practice in Columbus and other offices who will provide active mentoring and opportunities to assume increasing levels of responsibility, including participating in matters generated through the national and global platforms.

The firm is recognized both Regional and Nationally for providing first-class legal advice to a prestigious client base, they regularly advise lenders, developers and investors of all sizes in their lending, borrowing, leasing, development, investments, capital raises, syndication, commercial contracts and general management of Real Estate portfolios.

The Candidate

• 3+ years experience in Real Estate finance, experience in the following areas is required:
• Joint ventures, commercial financing, private placements / capital raises,
• Taxation and tax structuring, leases, easements, construction, property management
• Land use or development, an enthusiasm for state and federal tax credits is a plus
• Previous experience gained from a similar and highly regarded Law firm
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
• Possess a J.D. from an accredited law school as well as admitted to practice in Ohio
• Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
• Excellent organization and time-management skills
