Job Description

Our client is seeking a Quality Lab Manager to lead and oversee laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) standards while maintaining the highest levels of accuracy and reliability in testing and analysis. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and regulatory knowledge to manage laboratory personnel, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

· Implement and maintain QA/QC systems to ensure accurate and reliable laboratory results.

· Develop and enforce quality control procedures, including proficiency testing and calibration.

· Monitor laboratory data to identify trends and resolve potential issues through corrective and preventative actions.

· Ensure compliance with ISO, FDA, and other industry regulations through audits and inspections.

Laboratory Operations Management:

· Oversee daily laboratory operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and equipment maintenance.

· Supervise and mentor laboratory personnel, providing training and performance evaluations.

· Maintain laboratory safety protocols and ensure efficient operation.

· Develop and implement new laboratory methodologies and technologies to enhance efficiency.

Data Management and Reporting:

· Collect, analyze, and interpret laboratory data to drive process improvements.

· Generate accurate and timely reports on laboratory activities and findings.

· Communicate critical quality trends and insights to management and stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

· Identify opportunities to enhance laboratory processes and efficiency.

· Implement new technologies and best practices to maintain industry leadership.

· Stay current with scientific advancements and regulatory changes in laboratory operations.

Education & Experience:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemistry, biology, pharmacy, or a related scientific field.

· Proven experience in laboratory operations, quality management, and team leadership.

Technical Skills:

· Expertise in laboratory techniques, instrumentation, and data analysis software.

· Strong knowledge of ISO, FDA, and other regulatory standards.

Soft Skills:

· Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

· Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
