Quality Engineer

Responsibilities:
• Ensure products are designed, built and produced in accordance with customer specifications and quality requirements.
• Review design plans, Process and Test procedures
• Ensure products meet the organization and customers’ quality and product integrity requirements.
• Support the operations team by providing analysis and expertise throughout the inspection process.
• Identify root causes of problems in the production process
• Make recommendations and implement corrective measures.
• Analyze data to identify trends in product quality or defects
• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with federal, state, local and industry standards, and regulations.
• Maintain QMS procedures and documents.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
• At least five years of related experience required.
• Internal auditing experience specifically with ISO9000/AS9100 and NADCAP.
• Familiarity with Pratt & Whitney and/or GE Aviation quality systems.
• Thorough understanding of federal, state, local, and industry standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
