Job Description

Tri-Tech Forensics assembles convenience kits to support first responders. We are looking for dedicated individuals who understand the importance of maintaining product quality for our customers. This company offers an amazing work/life balance- no travel and only 40-hour work week.

Quality Lead Role

  • Daily management and oversight of a small team of quality inspectors performing routine quality assessments on incoming materials and outgoing products
  • Develop / maintain files with bill of materials and photos inspectors use to inspect each product.
  • Maintain product library with current product samples and specifications.
  • Review completed inspection records for accuracy.
  • Maintain email communications with production, purchasing & warehouse teams on status of inspections.
  • Fill in as needed when inspectors are absent.
  • Support shipping by verifying critical pending shipments have been inspected.
  • Looking through specifications to understand the design requirements of products
  • Measuring product dimensions, examining the functionality of products, and comparing the final products to see if standards are met
  • Documenting inspection findings, and completing detailed reports and performance records
  • Support Quality team:
  • Annual calibration efforts
  • Data entry & filing
  • Containments
  • Educating the production team on quality control processes, concerns, and standards of product quality
  • Keeping their job knowledge up to date by participating in educational opportunities
  • Maintaining a healthy and safe working environment by complying with company safety policies.

Successful candidates will have:

  • A positive attitude
  • Ability to get along with co-workers
  • A good work ethic focused on attendance, accuracy and efficiency
  • Some college, degree not needed
  • Previous management experience
  • Excellent near vision (with corrective lenses if needed)
  • Ability to measure product with a ruler
  • Ability to count accurately
  • Basic math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Basic Excel skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to sit or stand for up to 3 hours
