Job Description

A global automotive parts manufacturing company is currently seeking a motivated Purchasing and Sales Support employees support their office in the Dayton, Ohio area. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years’ work experience in customer service and logistics operations, and a positive, team-oriented mindset. This is a full-time, direct hire position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Purchasing and Sales Support Responsibilities Include :

• Act as point of contact for customers regarding order status, logistics tracking, questions and issues, etc. via phone and email
• Receive and process purchase orders and return authorizations, and update logistics information and sales activity in the company system(s)
• Assist with product pricing and provide quotations to customers
• Interface with other internal departments and external suppliers (both domestic and international) to ensure timely delivery of products
• Maintain documentation of ISO / IATF requirements to ensure consistent compliance to quality standards
• Other duties as assigned

Purchasing and Sales Support Requirements Include:

• Associate’s degree in a business-related field preferred, OR equivalent work experience
• At least 2-3 years' work experience in sales administration, purchasing and inventory control, or inside sales, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to be self-sufficient and work independently with minimal direct supervision
• Strong computer skills and experience in Microsoft Office applications
• Good communication and collaboration ability in a multicultural environment
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills
• While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
