Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced communications/public relations professional with proven experience with strategic communications, managing client relationships, reporting against strategic KPIs. This role is ideal for a candidate who enjoys a multi-faceted role including managing client relationships and driving client success through innovative strategies, effective communication, and measurable outcomes.

Location: Greenville, SC – Relocation is available for out of area candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic communication plans.
  • Create compelling media materials, including press releases, media alerts, and FAQs, tailored to target audiences.
  • Lead national-level media relations initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring exceptional client service and relationship management.
  • Deliver persuasive client presentations and manage budget allocations for paid media programs.
  • Provide event and trade show support.
  • Lead social media programs and drive ROI analysis.
  • Conduct research to identify and evaluate new business opportunities.
  • Develop corporate social responsibility platforms.
  • Track and report progress against strategic KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related field strongly preferred.
  • 5-10+ years of communications experience with an agency, client, or media organization.
  • Proven expertise in client management and building long-lasting professional relationships.
  • Preference to candidates with established national media relationships.
  • Ability to travel 5-10% of the time.
  • Role is based in Greenville, SC. Candidates must live locally or be willing to relocate.
  • Must be comfortable working in an in-office environment.
