Job Summary:

Metric Bio is seeking a Principal Investigator (PI) for ongoing and upcoming clinical trials at a top Clinical Research site in the Los Angeles, CA area. As the PI, you will oversee all medical and scientific aspects of assigned studies, ensuring the safety of participants, the integrity of data, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the lead medical expert for psychiatric clinical trials.
• Provide oversight of study protocols, subject eligibility, and informed consent processes.
• Ensure participant safety through ongoing medical evaluations and adverse event assessments.
• Collaborate with clinical research staff, sponsors, and regulatory agencies.
• Review and sign off on study documentation, including case report forms and source documentation.
• Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP, FDA regulations, and internal SOPs.
• Attend investigator meetings and provide training/support to study teams.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of California.
• Previous clinical research experience as a sub-investigator or principal investigator is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of psychiatric disorders and psychotropic medications.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to commit time regularly to the research site.
