Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop business requirements in coordination with stakeholders
  • Create and execute project plans
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues
  • Ensure high-quality, timely completion of project deliverables
  • Provide regular status updates and strategic reports, both written and verbal
  • Collaborate with all levels of management and external vendors on project documentation, plans, metrics, and progress tracking
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned

Required Skills:

  • Strong project management expertise, particularly in healthcare insurance IT environments
  • Effective interpersonal and people skills
  • Experience in project planning, effort estimation, and resource allocation
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present to executive leadership
  • Ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders continuously

Certification Required

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Medicaid or healthcare delivery systems

  • SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access
