Immediate need for a talented Project Engagement Specialist . This is a 12+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Charlotte , NC (Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $50 - $51/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engagement with Architects and Customers
  • Engage with architects to understand the specifics of the incoming work and project requirements.
  • Understand and stay current with CIOPS processes and requirements
  • Engage with customers to gather comprehensive information about:
  • Details of customer plans and needs
  • Specifics of the asset(s) being requested
  • Desired/required schedule(s) involved
  • Material Evaluation and Acquisition
  • Evaluate and acquire necessary materials from CIOPS, including hardware and software.
  • Execute estimates, quotations, and purchases for required materials.
  • Initiate actions to receive and install purchased equipment efficiently.
  • Facilitating Asset Buildout
  • Facilitate the buildout of required assets by coordinating with CIOPS.
  • Initiate the build process by entering and managing the build process flow.
  • Lead and resolve any asset build-related impediments to ensure smooth project progression.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key Skills; Infrastructure , Asset Management , support PM , servers, acquisition, evaluation , Data centres , storage drives , Windows, Project engagement , project delivery , project coordination.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • In lieu of a degree, 6 years of related business experience.
  • Work experience in addition to degree: 3-5 years of related experience in business and or information technology systems analysis or support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with data center and end user computing technology components
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Material evaluation and acquisition
  • Asset buildout facilitation
  • Problem-solving and resolution
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with architects, internal customers, and internal teams.
  • Experience in evaluating and acquiring materials, including hardware and software.
  • Proven ability to manage and facilitate asset build processes effectively.
