Overview

TalentoHC has partnered with a PE-backed consumer products and entertainment company in Plantation, FL looking for a temp Product Development Specialist to join their Scheduling team and support critical product development operations. This role involves coordinating between multiple departments, managing SKU tracking systems, and maintaining accurate development logs to ensure seamless product launches and brand initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Meeting Coordination: Attend cross-functional meetings to facilitate communication between departments and ensure project alignment
• SKU Management: Track and monitor SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) from SS (Spring/Summer) collections through various development stages
• Development Log Maintenance: Update and maintain development logs based on line plan updates provided by the Brand team
• Project Coordination: Serve as a liaison between Brand teams and development departments
• Schedule Management: Ensure timely completion of project milestones and deliverables
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, changes, and updates
• Communication: Facilitate clear communication of scheduling updates and changes across teams

Requirements

• 3-5 years of project management or coordination experience.
• Experience in product development, retail, or consumer goods industries preferred
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and experience with SKU management and product lifecycle processes
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in project management tools and software, advanced Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Familiarity with line planning processes
• Knowledge of product development workflows
• Understanding of seasonal collections and SKU management
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and experience with retail/fashion industry scheduling a plus
