River Run Pet Sitters, LLC is an established and well-loved company in Ocean County, NJ. Days: 2-3 days per week Hours: 11 am - 2 pm Walkers needed in: Brick, Toms River, Pont Pleasant, and Manasquan New Jersey You MUST live in one of these towns (or a bordering town) in order to visit clients' homes quickly and efficiently (sometimes several times per day) PLEASE NOTE: This is a very part-time job to start (2-5 walks per week). More walks available as business increases. Compensation: $10 per 30 minute dog walk Dog Walkers' Responsibilities:

Walk pets as required
Communicate with clients and with management during visits
Meet with new clients and their pets for initial consultations
Appropriate pet clean-up as required

Dog Walkers' Requirements and Qualifications:

Must have your own, reliable mode of transportation to perform the duties and responsibilities associated with this role
Must have a valid drivers license
Must be able to follow detailed instructions
Must be responsible, reliable, and dependable
Must be timely and punctual
Must be able to self-manage and work independently
Must have a smartphone to check in and out of dog walks through an online application
Must be willing to work in the varying weather conditions of Monmouth County, NJ
Must live in one of the towns listed above in order to visit clients' homes quickly and efficiently (sometimes several times per day)
Must be compassionate about animals
Must feel comfortable working with and interacting with both small and large dogs with varying temperaments
Must be willing to make a minimum commitment of 9 months to working with us
Must be able to pass criminal background check

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the bonding that occurs between animals and their caregivers, this is a long-term position. Summer / Holiday employment will not be considered. Our clients with dogs usually also have cats. Please keep this in mind if you have allergies to certain animals. Pet sitting jobs are also available to our dog walkers to supplement their dog walking income. Please NO CALLS - we are accepting online applications only at this time. Thank you!
