Role : Product Owner (Web Development & Mobile Apps)

Roles and responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy & Vision:

• Define the product vision and strategy for web and mobile applications in alignment with organizational goals.

• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to innovate and improve product features.

2. Backlog Management:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements for web and mobile applications.

Maintain and refine a well-organized product backlog with clearly defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and priorities.

• Ensure features are aligned with technical feasibility and business goals.

3. Collaboration with Development Teams:

• Work closely with developers, designers, and QA teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.

• Act as the key point of contact for the development team, providing clear guidance and addressing questions throughout the sprint cycle.

4. Stakeholder Communication:

• Communicate product updates, progress, and timelines to key stakeholders.

• Actively involve stakeholders in sprint reviews, product demonstrations, and feedback sessions.

5. User-Centric Design:

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly, visually appealing web and mobile experiences.

• Ensure features are designed with a mobile-first approach and optimized for various platforms and devices.

6. Data-Driven Decision-Making:

• Utilize analytics and user feedback to track product performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Monitor KPIs such as user engagement, retention, and conversion rates to inform product decisions.

7. Release Management:

• Plan and coordinate product releases, ensuring smooth deployment and adoption of web and mobile app updates.

• Work with marketing and support teams to launch products effectively and gather post-launch feedback.

Requirements:

• Education & Experience:

• 3-5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, with a focus on web development and mobile app projects.

• Technical Skills:

• Solid understanding of web and mobile development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, iOS, Android).

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum me thodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps).

• Experience in working with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, developers, and QA engineers.

• Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Preferred:

• Experience with mobile app distribution platforms (App Store, Google Play).

• Knowledge of APIs, cloud platforms, and integration tools.

• Certifications such as CSPO, SAFe Product Owner, or similar are a plus

Salary Range - $110,000-$130,000 a year
