GLDS is seeking a mid-level Product Manager with a strong sense of ownership, a collaborative spirit, and a bias toward action. This role goes beyond backlog management — it’s about being a responsive, communicative partner across the business. You’ll work closely with development, engage directly with customers, and provide consistent, transparent communication across teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Work closely with engineering to define, refine, and deliver high-quality product updates that are feasible, valuable, and on time. A strong sense of accountability, and a genuine respect for how your input impacts engineering, is essential.
  • Maintain engagement with both development and customer-facing teams — balancing product vision with technical and operational realities.
  • Communicate early and often with stakeholders. Acknowledge every request, provide updates, and follow through, even when the answer is “not now.”
  • Engage directly with customers and internal users to understand their needs, pain points, and success criteria.
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable product requirements, user stories, and documentation.
  • Champion a solution mindset — not just the “what” but the “how” — ensuring customer outcomes remain the driving force behind priorities.
  • Act as a gatekeeper for development resources without being a bottleneck. You’ll be expected to filter, respond to, and follow up on all requests, and communicate decisions with clarity and empathy.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2–5 years of product management experience, ideally with a B2B SaaS platform or within the broadband/telecom industry.
  • Demonstrable experience with ChatGPT, or other similar AI tools.
  • Proven ability to collaborate closely with developers while respecting technology, time and capacity.
  • Excellent communication and follow-through with both technical and non-technical audiences. Expect to be in front of customers and even on stage.
  • Strong prioritization skills and the ability to push back on customers requests constructively — balancing long-term strategy with day-to-day urgency.
  • A confident, clear presence with customers — capable of earning trust and leading conversations with credibility.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience.

Work Model

This is a hybrid role based in Carlsbad, CA . Expect to be in-office three days per week, with remote flexibility two days per week.
