Job Opportunity: Procurement & Inventory Specialist

Location: Pasadena, CA 91101

Duration: 6-Month Contract

Pay Rate: $25–$30 per hour (W2)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Procurement & Inventory Specialist to support our operations team. This role involves managing inventory, overseeing purchasing activities, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining accurate asset and procurement documentation. Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

  • Process requests for standard stock supplies within one business day.
  • Maintain and update inventory records, including printed forms.
  • Perform monthly physical inventory checks and alert the appropriate department when stock is low.

Procurement & Purchasing

  • Source standard stock items and prepare purchase requisitions.
  • Compare suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with procurement standards.
  • Follow internal procurement policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.

Receiving & Documentation

  • Open and verify deliveries against packing slips for accuracy in quantity, quality, and pricing.
  • Upload documentation into Certify AP.
  • Report any discrepancies to Procurement Buyers and assist in resolving issues.

Asset Management

  • Log equipment into the Hardware Asset Management System (HAM) and tag items within two business days.
  • Address and resolve any data discrepancies.
  • Update records when equipment reaches end-of-life and ensure disposal documentation complies with policy.

Warehouse Operations

  • Monitor the condition of warehouse equipment and arrange service calls as needed.

Additional Support

  • Provide backup support by sourcing and processing special supply and service purchase orders when required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in procurement, inventory, or warehouse operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with procurement systems and asset management tools.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
